The Media Arts Fellowships Program encompassed a range of activities designed to further the production, distribution and exhibition of independent media in all forms. The cornerstone of the Program’s activities was the Media Arts Fellowships, which supported the creation of new works that brought innovation to the media arts. Artists who received Fellowships were encouraged to redefine, invent, and explore visions and stories that reflect our diverse culture.
