(2001) Ayo Silver | Hi-Ho Silver (1997) Medallones de filete | Filet of Beef (1995) Accomplishments Issa GarcĂa is a narrative filmmaker whose work has received the Special Jury Award at the Jornada de Cortometraje Mexicano and Best Short Film and Best Director for a Short Film at the Muestra de Cine Mexicano. She received funding from the Hubert Bals Fund for development of her first feature film, Me vas a recordar. GarcĂa studied film direction at the Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos (CUEC) in Mexico City.
