He received the prize for best adapted screenplay and best comedy script for Las puertitas del señor López (The Little Doors of Mr. López). He was the founder of the Buenos Aires International Film Festival, and served as its director in 1999 and 2000.

photographs, di Tella traces the imprints of his mother’s

publication. The screenings included the Spanish premiere of his latest
film Fotografías, a personal essay based on a box of
photographs, which di Tella uses to trace the imprints of his
